DISC JOCKEY (DJ)
DJ Mike and team offers more than 16 years of experience in providing talented, energetic deejays, emcees, dancers, intelligent lighting, and LED screens to the Guyanese, Caribbean, American and South Asian community. We have an extensive library of music to choose from including Indian, Soca, Chutney, Bhangra, Calypso, Reggae, Latin, Slow jams, Dancehall, House, Rock and other multicultural music from around the world. We guarantee to satisfy just about everyone. DJ Mike and team will play the music that you select and listen to your suggestions to ensure that the party stays lively and fun. We invite you to create your own music list or you can leave the music programming to us, your professional disc Jockey.
MASTER OF CEREMONIES
Our MC can be used to keep your guest motivated throughout the entire event from the introduction to the last dance. We keep your guest entertained by playing games, setting up group participation activities or doing whatever it takes to make sure your guest leave absolutely amazed. Our MC also works closely with the host, event coordinator and maître’d to make sure everything runs smoothly and on time.
COCKTAIL MUSIC
An additional sound system is typically used for indoor or outdoor cocktail areas. Speakers are typically placed in different locations to ensure proper acoustic. We will customize a playlist for the cocktail hour, ensuring nonstop music for your guest to enjoy while they mingle and socialize. Choose from easy listening, Indian love songs or instruments, Jazz, Steel pan or a playlist of your favorite songs. Your guest will truly appreciate the pleasant music that would be played to help them loosen up and warm up for your reception.
LED SCREENS
Our fifty inch LED screens are used to display a customized photo montage and digital pictures taken during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Special effects are added to the pictures and they are displayed while the guest enters the reception room and also during dinner. A live simulcast is sometimes used to provide guest visibility to important events such as the first dance, cake cutting, speeches, performances and also during the dance party.
L.E.D UP LIGHTING
LED Uplighting sets the ambiance and at the same time enhances the décor of your room. It is a popular choice and the latest in lighting technology that will transform your room into an elegant setting by slowly changing the color of the room. This is achieved by illuminating the walls, ceilings, backdrops and the DJ booth. The result is a breathtaking scene that is personally tailored to your specifications.
MOTIVATIONAL DANCERS
Motivational dancers can be used to entertain the guest by performing dance numbers to keeping the crowd entertain thought out the event. We use some of the most talented dancers from various dance schools in the NY metro area. Our dancers are trained in classical Indian, Indian film, Bhangra, Chutney and fusion dances.
CUSTOM MONOGRAM
A custom monogram is the perfect finishing touch to an elegant event. DJ Mike can customize any logo or monogram to be projected on the dance floor, walls, and ceiling or above the main table. We can design custom monograms with your initials, names, images and patterns to create a unique, elegant and lasting impression.
INTELLIGENT LIGHTING
Intelligent Lighting can create and deliver a dramatic feeling for any event and set the mood for dancing. Our light jockey uses two of the top lighting manufactures in the lighting industry, Martin and Elation. They can produce unique and dramatic effects on the dance floor, walls and ceilings. They can also compose beautiful displays of lights accenting architectural features of your venue as well as elegant illumination of the dance floor. We use vertical truss towers and place a single intelligent light fixture on top of each one. The truss is covered with a luminescent fabric and a LED fixture is then placed inside the tower to provide a color wash effect within the truss.
